Asheville Fire Department supports Asheville Fire Fighters Association with Operation Warm

The Asheville Fire Department will join forces to help support our Asheville Fire Fighters Association Local 332 with an Operation Warm coat distribution 1 p.m. Dec. 17 Hall Fletcher Elementary. Over 100 new, American- and union-made coats will be delivered and given to selected children in need of assistance.
Joint fundraising and donations were received from the Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics of North Carolina, Urban Orchard who hosted a fundraising event and countless other generous individuals.
The coats will arrive on a fire truck and will be distributed to children at Hall Fletcher Elementary by Asheville firefighters. This marks the third annual Operation Warm in which AFFA Local 332 has successfully organized.
